StealthLens provides aftermarket modification services for Meta Ray-Ban and Oakley Meta smart glasses, including removal of the recording-indicator LED. We currently offer the following service options:

• Mail-In — ship your glasses to us, we modify and ship them back. Round-trip shipping is included in the listed price. Mail-in is booked through this website.
• Drop-Off — available by appointment in Orlando, FL or the New York City metro. Drop-off appointments are arranged by direct contact (Instagram DM or email) and are not booked through this website.
• Mobile (We Come To You) — available by appointment in select areas of Orlando, FL or the New York City metro. Mobile appointments are arranged by direct contact and are not booked through this website.

Service availability, turnaround times, and pricing are described on our website and may change at any time. The price agreed at the time of booking (online or by direct contact) is the price for that order.

You must be at least 18 years old to enter into these Terms. By placing an order, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms.

Mail-in orders are placed through our website and processed by Stripe. Local services (drop-off and mobile) are arranged by direct contact and paid at the time of service. We do not see, store, or transmit your full payment card details for any order.

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all order information, including shipping address (for mail-in), contact details, and the model/year of your glasses.

Prices are in U.S. dollars. We may correct pricing or product errors at any time, including after an order is placed; in such cases we will notify you and offer a refund or revised order.

For mail-in orders, after checkout we email you a prepaid USPS shipping label preaddressed to our facility. You are responsible for:

• Packing your glasses securely (we recommend the original case plus padding)
• Dropping the package at a USPS location within 14 days of order placement (otherwise the order may be cancelled)
• Providing an accurate return address

Shipments are insured for declared value of $400 per package by default. If you wish to declare a higher value, contact us before shipping.

StealthLens does not offer a post-delivery warranty on its services. Every pair of glasses is functionally tested in our workshop before it is shipped to confirm the modification was completed successfully and that camera, audio, and smart features remain operational. Once your glasses leave our facility in confirmed working order, the work is final.

This Section 5 does not limit our obligations under Section 8 (Cancellations and Refunds), including any duty to repair, replace, or refund where we ourselves damage your glasses while they are in our possession.

Modifying your smart glasses voids the manufacturer warranty (Meta, Ray-Ban, and/or Oakley). By placing an order, you acknowledge that:

• Your manufacturer warranty will be voided as a result of our modification
• You own the glasses you are submitting and have the legal right to authorize modifications
• StealthLens is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or EssilorLuxottica / Ray-Ban / Oakley

Removing the recording-indicator LED disables a privacy notice that informs others when the glasses are recording video or audio. It is your sole responsibility to understand and comply with all federal, state, local, and international laws that apply to recording, wiretapping, eavesdropping, surveillance, and consent in any place you intend to use the modified glasses.

Many jurisdictions, including the State of Florida and several other U.S. states, require that all parties to a conversation consent before audio is recorded. Other jurisdictions follow a one-party-consent rule. Recording in restrooms, locker rooms, schools, healthcare settings, secure facilities, and certain workplaces is prohibited or restricted in most jurisdictions regardless of consent. These laws change over time and vary widely.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You will review and comply with the recording, privacy, and consent laws applicable to where you live and where you use the glasses
• You will not use the modified glasses to record any person, place, or conversation in violation of those laws
• You assume full and sole responsibility for any civil or criminal liability arising from your use of the glasses
• StealthLens does not provide legal advice, and nothing on our website should be interpreted as such — if you are unsure whether a planned use is lawful, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction before using the glasses

Before you ship your glasses: you may cancel for a full refund. Email us at support@stealthlens.net with your order number.

After you ship, before work begins (whether in transit to us or already received): you may cancel for a refund of the service price minus shipping costs incurred (inbound and any return shipping required to send the unmodified glasses back to you).

After work begins: the order is non-refundable, except where we are unable to perform the service or where we damage your glasses (see below).

If we damage your glasses: we will, at our discretion, replace the glasses with an equivalent unit or refund the full purchase price plus the documented value of the glasses up to the declared value of the shipment.

Risk of loss for glasses in transit to us is yours until we receive the package; risk of loss in transit back to you is ours until you receive the package. Both directions are insured up to declared value. Lost-package claims are subject to USPS investigation and the limits of the insurance coverage.

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEALTHLENS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEALTHLENS'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) THE DECLARED VALUE OF YOUR GLASSES AS INSURED FOR SHIPMENT.

IN NO EVENT WILL STEALTHLENS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST RECORDINGS, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM ANY UNLAWFUL USE OF THE MODIFIED GLASSES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

You agree not to use our services to (i) submit glasses you do not legally own or are not authorized to modify, (ii) attempt to defraud us, our payment processor, or our shipping carriers, or (iii) violate any applicable law or third-party right. We may refuse, cancel, or refund any order at our sole discretion.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StealthLens, its members, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, your use of the modified glasses (including any unlawful recording), or your violation of any law or third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
